Enlightenment thinkers immensely started to think and question slavery in which they came to the conclusion that slavery should not exist since it violates human rights and to humans as well. As the world was adapting to the Industrial Revolution and capitalism there was no need for slavery it was no longer a necessity. Enlightenment thinker came up with three major concepts which were abolitionism, nationalism, and feminism. These ideas focus on moral and human rights, this allowed for economic progression. Feminism started to grow widely in Europe in which it "echoed" across the Atlantic inspiring many feminist movements.
