A war started by sandwich but not really, the Great War or World War I as it is commonly known, was a war that began with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand by a Serbian Nationalist. the assassination was not the only even that provoke the war but the strong sense of nationalism the sense curiosity to experiment with war plans also played a role. The war created two allied forces, the war lasted longer than anyone expected, leading to a huge number of casualties and deaths. After the end of the was the treaty of Versailles was created solely blaming everything on Germany. Germany saw the treaty as unfair. Soon after the war, the Great Depression economical happened to cause many economic issues for many nations. After the Great Depression, many authoritarian leaders started to emerge due to the spread of communism. Not too long after the rise of these new leaders, WWII happened, with Nazi Germany being a new superpower. The war remained in Europe till Japan decided to bomb a US naval base causing the US for the first time to enter a world war.
